Catherine Coburn Turner is a graduate (’91)
of the Culinary Institute of America and has held Executive Chef positions
with both the California Café at Stanford Shopping Center in Palo
Alto, CA and later with Bon Appetit at Stanford University. Before moving
to Southwest Virginia, she was a private corporate chef for Fremont Bank
and managed their events and corporate homes in Pebble Beach, CA. She
also worked as the food writer for Carmel Magazine and Coast Weekly Newspaper
and is the author of the children’s book, The Adventures of Monterey
Jack, Jack’s Original Recipe for Rescue (www.adventuresofmontereyjack.com).
